About OTC: Specialists in School-Based Therapy, Rooted in Clinical Excellence

At Occupational Therapy Consultants, Inc. (OTC), we do things differently. Since 1985, our therapist-owned clinical practice has specialized in delivering high-quality, school-based services across New Jersey. We’re not a staffing agency, we are a clinical team that prioritizes mentorship, collaboration, professional development and evidence-based, neurodiversity-affirming care.

We foster professional growth through mentorship, advanced training, and a strong culture of learning. Whether new to the field or seasoned professionals, our therapists are continually developing their skills to stay at the forefront of research-informed practice and to respond constructively to today’s complex school environments.

Why Work With Us?

  • Therapist-Owned & Clinically Driven
Led by experienced clinicians, OTC understands the challenges and rewards of school-based therapy. You’ll be part of a supportive, knowledgeable team, not just a number in a system.
  • Focused on New Jersey
We’ve chosen to serve only New Jersey schools. That means you’ll be working with a team that deeply understands local educational systems, regulations, and student needs.
  • Support Every Step of the Way
From your first day on the job, you’ll receive orientation, mentoring, and ongoing supervision as needed. Whether you’re a new grad or seasoned professional, we’ll help you grow your skills and confidence.
  • Commitment to Professional Development
We offer access to OTC-sponsored events, continuing education, in-services, and workshops—all designed to keep your clinical practice sharp and current.
  • Neuroaffirming Values
We believe in supporting the strengths and identities of neurodivergent students. Our approach is student-centered, inclusive, and grounded in best practices.
